Housing Subsidy

To take care of the socially disadvantaged, maintain the public housing quality or promote housing market, the Construction and Planning Agency has implemented the "Housing Subsidy Program for Integrated Properties" since 2007. This city government is requested to assist. The subsidy program is summarized as follows:
I. Application time:July to August every year(exact time to be announced by the Construction and Planning Agency)
II. The number of planned households: To be announced by the Construction and Planning Agency
III. Subsidy items:
(A) Rental subsidy
Every household is subsidized of its actual monthly rent or a maximum of NT$ 4,000 for one year.
(B) Interest subsidy on housing loan for self-occupied residential property
1. Preferential credit line: Qualification is to be verified and determined by the handling financial institution, while the maximum amount is to be announced by the Construction and Planning Agency
2. Repayment period: 20 years at most, including the construction period and the grace period; a grace period should not exceed five years.
3. Preferential interest rates:
(1) First category: 0.533% is to be deducted from Fixed Interest Rate on 2-Year Time Savings Deposits - Chunghwa Post Co.
(2) Second category: 0.042% is to be added to Fixed Interest Rate on 2-Year Time Savings Deposits - Chunghwa Post Co.
(C) Interest subsidy on housing repair loans
1. Preferential credit line: Qualification is to be verified and determined by the handling financial institution; the amount should not exceed NT$ 8 million.
2. Repayment period: 15 years at most, including grace period, which should not exceed 3 years.
3. Preferential interest rates:
(1) First category: 0.533% is to be deducted from Fixed Interest Rate on 2-Year Time Savings Deposits - Chunghwa Post Co.
Second category: 0.042% is to be added to Fixed Interest Rate on 2-Year Time Savings Deposits - Chunghwa Post Co.
